Franco Caffe Aroma Naturale Organic Fairtrade – 1000 g whole bean coffee.Flavour profile and roast: It has a balanced flavour profile with a medium roast: full-bodied, with roasted, chocolate, nutty and caramel notes, and moderate perceived acidity. The actual cup profile is shaped by the grind, the mineral content of the water, the temperature and the extraction ratio. The ‘BIO/Organic’ label is part of the product name; the exact scope and labelling of the certification are detailed on the packaging.Preparation tip: A barista’s starting point – 36–42 g of brew from 18 g of ground coffee in a double filter basket, over 25–30 seconds, using water at 91–94 °C. For a tart, thin cup, use a finer grind or a higher temperature; for a bitter, drying aftertaste, a coarser grind, lower temperature or shorter extraction time is recommended. The finer aromas are best appreciated when served black or with a little milk.Storage: Once opened, reseal airtight and store in a dry, cool place, protected from light and strong odours. It is advisable to grind only the amount you intend to use immediately, as ground coffee loses its aroma more quickly.
