Daosin tablets – For those sensitive to histamine

Taking one DAOSiN® tablet before a meal increases DAO levels in the gut, thereby enhancing the ability to break down histamine through natural DAO activity.

DAOSiN® should be taken before a meal (ideally about 15 minutes beforehand)! The tablet must have dissolved and the DAO it contains must have been activated by the time the histamine-containing food reaches the gut. The maximum recommended daily intake is three tablets (corresponding to three histamine-containing meals per day). The tablet must not be chewed but swallowed whole so that its contents can pass through the stomach and reach the intestinal tract intact. It has a gastro-resistant coating.

Active ingredient: DAO enzyme.

Enzyme activity per tablet: 23 kHDU (23,000 histamine-degrading units).

(Enzyme activity is measured in units that indicate the rate of the reaction catalysed by the enzyme, expressed in micromoles of the converted (or formed) product per minute.)
