Vitaking Saw Palmetto (Saw Palmetto, Sabal Palm, Dwarf Palm) capsules

Saw Palmetto is an extract from the fruit of the saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), which is the most widely used herbal extract in the treatment of an enlarged prostate.

Enlarged prostate is the most common condition affecting ageing men. The problem primarily affects men in their 40s. By the age of 60, around 50 per cent of men are affected by an enlarged prostate, and by the age of 85, this figure rises to nearly 90 per cent. The primary cause is the excessive production of dihydrotestosterone, which stimulates the growth of prostate cells.

Saw palmetto reduces the activity of the enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone, thereby making prostate-related problems treatable.

Saw palmetto extract may help maintain healthy prostate function.
