By eating sea fish regularly – at least twice a week – we can help ensure an adequate intake of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are valuable to the body. The two Omega-3 fatty acids found in sea fish, EPA and DHA, may help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels, support healthy heart function and maintain normal blood clotting.

Omega-3 fatty acids may help maintain normal blood pressure. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is also a polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid, and adequate intake of it may help maintain normal levels of total and LDL cholesterol in the blood.
