To preserve the aromas, use a freshly opened packet, clean water and a gentle extraction method.Preparation tip: The fineness of the factory grind determines the appropriate brewing method; follow the instructions on the packaging. For filter brewing, 55–65 g of coffee per litre of water and a temperature of 92–96 °C are a good starting point. When using a percolator, the filter should be filled without tamping, and brewing should ideally be stopped before the loud gurgling sound begins. Water quality is also a key factor here: water that is too hard can dull the aromas, whilst water that is too soft can result in a sharper acidity.Storage: Once opened, reseal the packet airtight and store in a dry, cool place, protected from light and strong odours.
