The Meixner workbook for practising writing numbers and arithmetic is designed for Year 1 pupils within the number range of 1 to 10, and was created in collaboration with and on the recommendation of the Meixner Foundation. In this workbook for Year 1 pupils, the larger 8 mm grid and writing samples constructed from simple elements help pupils develop their writing of numbers and arithmetic symbols.
Matching the disc diagrams with the number diagrams, and representing operations using disc diagrams, facilitates the acquisition of basic arithmetic within the number range up to 10. The workbook is well-suited for developing number concepts and practising operations both at home and in maths lessons.
