To preserve the delicate aromas, pure water, a fresh grind and gentle extraction are required.Preparation tip: A barista’s starting point – 38–45 g of brew from 18 g of ground coffee in a double filter basket, over 25–30 seconds, using water at 92–95 °C. For a tart, thin-bodied cup, use a finer grind or a higher temperature; for a bitter, drying aftertaste, a coarser grind, lower temperature or shorter extraction time is recommended. For a long coffee, it is best to extend the espresso with separate hot water; too much water passed through the puck can bring out woody, bitter notes.Storage: Once opened, reseal the pack airtight and store in a dry, cool place, protected from light and strong odours.
