Caffé Vergnano Gran Aroma – 1000 g whole bean coffee.Coffee blend: 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta.Flavour profile and roast: It has a balanced flavour profile with a medium roast: full-bodied, with roasted, chocolate, nutty and caramel notes, and moderate perceived acidity. The actual cup profile is shaped by a combination of grind size, the mineral content of the water, temperature and extraction rate.Preparation tip: A barista’s starting point – 36–42 g of brew from 18 g of ground coffee in a double filter basket, over 25–30 seconds, with water at 91–94 °C. For a sour, thin cup, use a finer grind or a higher temperature; for a bitter, drying aftertaste, a coarser grind, lower temperature or shorter extraction time is recommended. The finer aromas are best appreciated when served black or with a little milk.Storage: Once opened, reseal airtight and store in a dry, cool place, protected from light and strong odours.
